Foremost Pan-African business magnate, social entreprenuer and Non-Executive Director of Ecobank Nigeria, Ichie (Dr.) Nnaeto Orazulike has been conferred with the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger, OON. Ichie Orazulike received the award along with other honorees from President Muhammadu Buhari at the 2022 National Honours Award investiture ceremony held yesterday in Abuja.
The honour is in recognition of Ichie Orazulike’s selfless service to humanity and contributions to the growth of the country. He joined over 400 others who received their awards and recognition in the different categories.
Ichie Orazulike was appointed as Non-Executive Director of Ecobank Nigeria in April 2022. and he is the founder and Group Managing Director of Genesis Group, a Nigerian conglomerate with interests in Restaurants, Cinemas, Hotels, Food Production as well as Oil and Gas Services and Production.
He is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an alumnus of Havard Business School Executive Training Programme. He was awarded the prestigious Honorary Doctor of Science degree by the University of Port Harcourt in 2015. In 2021, he won the Nagerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) 60th anniversary awards for his exemplary role in the entertainment and hospitality sector.
Orazulike has receive several other awards at both national and state levels.
